Welcome to the Meche-Matka, A blog dedicated to all prospecting  matkas(M.Tech) of Mechanical engineering. I observed that there is a need of dedicated blog which can help meche-undergraduates to select right program at Indian Universities so that they can plan better. Upon my experience I can say almost every GATE qualified candidate can get into govt. engg colleges. Whatever your GATE score is. Don’t Worry you are among the top 15 %. Besides IITs, NITs there are many Central and State govt. Colleges where you can get into.. These Institutes has their own counseling. What you all need to know is the Date of availability of form.
